Directions and Parking
(for Oct. 19 and 20 only)
Your Most Important Destination: The PARKING GARAGE
The Parking Garage, with which BA-DFW has made the arrangements, is your most significant destination. You may park anywhere else if you wish, at your own expense. The FREE parking (that comes with your paid registration) is applicable ONLY to the One Arts Plaza Parking Garage.
The ONE ARTS PLAZA PARKING GARAGE is located behind the One Arts Plaza Building. The entrance to the Parking Garage is at the corner of Arts Plaza and Wade Street in the Dallas Arts District. Please note that Wade St. is unmarked, and it does not show up on most GPS systems.
If you are using a GPS device, we recommend you first reach the front of One Arts Plaza: 1722 Routh St, Dallas, TX 75201.
Then, from the Routh Street side, enter the lane that it is flanked by the St. Paul United Methodist Church on the left and a 7-Eleven Corporate Office and flagship store on the right.

The entrance to the covered Parking Garage is near the inner corner of Wade St. and Arts Plaza, with A BIG RED VERTICAL SIGN -- PARKING $5, visible only when entering from the Routh St! [Click on thumbnail to see photo, in a new browser tab/window.) With a paid registration, you will be waived the $5 though.
Google Maps, iPhones, and iPads locate this place accurately with the following address:
Wade St, Dallas, TX
(It does NOT need a "house number.")

If you come down to the garage via Ross St and Arts Plaza, there is no red sign visible; the approach looks like this photo.
PLEASE TAKE THE PARKING COUPON/TICKET AT THE GATE as you enter the garage building, AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO THE REGISTRATION DESK.
There, you will receive the Parking Permit and additional instructions.

VERY IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NOTES
- The traffic in downtown Dallas on any given Friday evening is very heavy. You will certainly need MUCH more time to reach the destination than what it normally does.
- Also, this Friday evening, our Durgotsav will coincide with, and be immersed in, the famous Aurora Festival of the Dallas Arts District — where artists illuminate the he Dallas Arts District with "installations of light, sound, performance, and projection!" We will lend color and "exoticity" to the ambiance with our very own colors, textures, sights and sounds! Interesting as this festival is, it also comes with its own set of issues. The area will be more crowded than usual (which means, you need to add more time to travel, park and reach the venue) and, VERY IMPORTANTLY, Flora Street will be closed to traffic. To reach the Parking Garage, though, you will not need to drive on Flora.
