Apaar Bangla is an original Bangla band based in Boston. They strive to break the boundaries of music and draw inspiration from genres as diverse as rock and roll, urban pop, and Bangla folk music. They are a multi-ethnic band with members from Bangladesh, India, Vietnam and the USA, and they compose their our own music as well as play popular contemporary songs.

They formed in the summer of 2009 and, since then, have performed at several concerts and received a great deal of attention and adulation in both the Indian and American press, and on internet media forums worldwide. In December 2011, their first CD, 'East West Metro' was released by Saregama India. It received enormous appreciation from their fans from all the world over.
