Thirty-Three years ago, a group of “Bangalees” pioneered Durga Puja to the Bengali community in Dallas and Fort Worth.  Since then, BADFW has been committed in delivering an enchanting Durga Puja experience.  Every year, a team of dedicated leaders from our Bengali community, puts in tremendous effort to bring forth spectacular festivities befitting the Bengali expectations. We deeply acknowledge the support of our volunteers as well as our patrons who provide us with the financial support to deliver one of the world’s best Durga Puja.

Admission fees cover the expenses of our event partially and are not enough to sustain the quality of our world class Puja. As we attempt to keep gate prices as affordable as possible, we also rely heavily on your donations to keep providing excellent facilities and programs.

Last year, donations accounted for nearly 15% of our total budget. Had it not been for the financial help of our patrons, our ticket prices would have been much higher. The revenue we earn every year gets distributed across various portfolios including local Cultural Programs, Guest Artist, Food, Venue costs, Pujo and Decoration. We appreciate all the financial help and support you patrons have provided year after year – we just could not have done it without YOU.
