Four Decades of Preserving Bengali Heritage in North Texas
Since its founding, the Bengali Association of Dallas-Fort Worth (BADFW) has served as a cultural home for Bengalis and friends of Bengal across North Texas. What began as a small gathering of families has grown into one of the region's most vibrant cultural communities.
For over 40 years, BADFW has celebrated the traditions, values, and artistic heritage of Bengal while creating a sense of belonging for generations who now call Dallas-Fort Worth home.
Through annual celebrations of Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Poila Boishakh, Mahalaya, Rabindra-Nazrul programs, cultural festivals, youth activities, and community events, we have ensured that our heritage continues to thrive thousands of miles from its roots.

BADFW's heritage continues to evolve with every volunteer, performer, member, and participant who contributes their time and talent. Today, thousands of attendees, hundreds of volunteers, and generations of families come together through BADFW events, keeping our traditions alive while creating new memories for the future.
