Here are some guidelines and requirements:

• • The Kumari (girl between the ages of 5 through 9 years) needs to be dressed as a bride, wearing a sari, mukut, alta, and veil (ordhna), with a flower garland around her neck.

• • Must arrive at the venue (with a parent), on the day of the Kumari Puja (Saturday, Oct 20), before 10:30 AM.
  • Please bring the following items with you to the Puja venue on the day of Kumari Puja:
    • New plate and a glass
    • Flowers
    • A small sitting stool and a cloth to cover it
    • Fruit
    • Sweets (mishti)
    • Dollar Coin
    • Priest Dakhshina
